Thirty-Three

Thirty-three shots, three minutes, one rule: nothing in the frame that wasn’t already there.

Thirty-Three is our annual exercise in restraint — a self-initiated sketch that keeps the crew honest. One location, found objects, available light, and a cut that lands exactly on the three-minute mark.

It screens before every client pitch we give. Not because it sells anything, but because it says everything about how we see.

We scouted with a phone, shot in story order, and forbade ourselves from moving a single object. Constraint was the whole crew: it forced compositions we would never have designed on purpose.
